Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy explains how Young Smarties Child Care Centre (“we”, “us”) collects and handles personal information through this website, youngsmarties.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

When you use this website we may collect:

  • Enquiry details you give us. When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number, your preferred tour day and time if you provide one, and anything you write in your message.
  • Usage information. Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage data — such as pages visited and general device information — through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a tour or answer your questions.
  • To understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising.

Enquiry details are sent to our centre inbox by email (through our email provider, Resend). We do not add you to any marketing list from a website enquiry without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

This website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and to help show our ads to people likely to be interested in a childcare place. The pixel may set cookies and share limited usage data with Meta. It does not receive your name, email, phone number or any information about a child.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage how ads are shown to you in your Meta ad preferences.

Who we share information with

We only share information with the service providers that help us run this website and respond to you — our website host, our email provider (Resend), and Meta for the advertising measurement described above. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Children’s information

This website is intended for parents and carers, not children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Information about enrolled children and families is collected and protected separately through our enrolment process and our obligations under the Education and Care Services National Law — not through this website.

Keeping and protecting your information

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask a question about this policy, by contacting us:
